School & Work

So, school has started again, like 2 weeks ago, and life is hectic again.  So, at work they are trying to make all of these changes plus we have a FOR coming up so its stressful.  They even tried to demote me, but that's a whole nother story.  I JUST made my first resume and I plan on sending it to some places because I want a receptionist job.  School is okay, I only have class from M-W, I already skipped 1 class though.  This semester I need to cut down on that because Im trying to get straight A's.  I came close last semester, and that was my New Year's resolution.

Im becoming too much like my Ma

So, Im home for the holidays, and I find the more time I spend home the more I pick up some of my Mom's habits.  I've been sitting around eating ice at night.  I ususally dont even drink water so that is diff out of character

I always have to get the crushed ice with water and a straw.  I drink the water first and then just chew on the ice as I do whatever....lol...Its good tho, cant wait til new years for some bubbly tho.

Manga

So, I am guilty of being one of the people who thought that Manga and some other Japanese things were for nerds.  But I have now been ENLIGHTENED.....lol.  So, I read one called Midnight Secretary and I must say I couldnt stop reading it.  I had to get up for work around 6am and I stayed up until 2am reading it...smh.  I need to get my priorities in order, but this story was just really good.  So now Im on a quest to find other good Manga stories.....if you know of any comment please :) .  I must admit reading from right to left did give me a slight headache and I loved the drawings.

This looks interesting

I sooo want to go see this.  At first I was like this was already done (Baby Mama), but then they had that twist...lol.  I still think that its a mix of Knocked Up and Baby Mama, but both of those were good movies.  It doesnt come out until April tho.

I went in

Soooo, at the end of this semester I managed to get a B+ in Sociology, a B+ in Music in Culture, a B in English, and a B in Spanish 101.  I was surprised about some of those grades.  Spanish wasnt hard, but I just didnt really give my all.  I need to change that next semester and maybe I will manage to get some A's.  I also need to stop procrastinating so much......smh.

Christmas Season

I wonder why Im always broke during the Christmas season....smh....I have money anyother time of the year but around Christmas Im broke and I have to get other people presents....does that make me sound mean?

New Music

So, I am most def going to support Chris this time around.  Its been years since Ive bought a actual physical CD.  Im getting the deluxe edition though.  This song "Take My Time" goes in.  It is definately a more grown up version of "Take You Down".  I also love "Movie" I dont know for sure, but it sounds like "Tender Love" by Chico El Debarge was sampled.  I love "Tender Love" so that partially explains why I love this song so much.  I cant wait until I get my new car so that I can blast Graffiti in it.....lol.  But, at the end of the day, Chris came hard on this album.

2012

Okay, so Im in the process of watching 2012 on megavideo (sn: eff them for saying that I have to wait 54 more minutes to watch the rest).  I love the cast of actors that they chose.  Movies like this make me feel so said because when the end of days come I just hope that people would be better.  These movies make me want to become a polition or work somewhere in the government so that I can be privy to these things before instead of after like they do the public.  Which is so bogus, as the president said AFTER it was too late they should have did a lottery so that everyone would have an equal chance to make it on the ships.  Just because someone is in the gov't or rich doesnt mean that they should be saved who said that they would be able to contribute anything besides money, which isnt going to be important where ever they are going.  But, yea I may actually by this movie when it comes out.  I just dont like how they would have people speaking french and chinese without subtitles...I dont want to guess at what they are saying.

Tell me why I got into an accident this past Tuesday....Its like Ive gotten into an accident every year since I got my license....ish sucks....and its always deemed my fault but the other drivers should get tickets too....becasue they be doing some stupid ish....now I gotta get my car fixed out of pocket because my dad didnt have my car covered for collusion.....I feel so eff the world right now.

Something New

Well at least to me...lol...So I was shopping for groceries in Wal Mart today and I was like I want some ice cream.....So I went into the ice cream isle and saw these.....I think its funny that I find them sooo good because I dont usually eat/like granola or yogurt but it just tastes like ice cream....and I got the stawberry one because I like strawberry stuff just not strawberry ice cream or chocolate ice cream for that matter....but yea everyone should try them.

Wow.......I have soooo neglected this.........but life has been hectic. With school, work, and other things. I kinda cant wait for this semester to be over. Im mad that I signed up for Music History thinking that it would be interesting just to despise going to the class...*sigh* But the show must go on........in the next week I need to attend a concert and write a 3-4 page paper on it, do a quiz, and test for Music History.......then I have to study for a test in Sociology.......and I have to finish my listening assignments, Internet assignments, and study for a test for Spanish.........AAAAAAND then write a final draft, put together a portfolio, and write an assessment for English..........and that doesnt include my work schedule....*sigh* I want to be a kid again.

READY

So, I listened to Trey Songz album "Ready". I liked it, but I dont think its better than his second album "Trey Day". For me the standouts were "Neighbors know my name", "Jupiter Love", "Be Where You Are", "Love Lost" and "Holla if you need me". I feel like we already heard most of his album with him having had 2 singles and his using "Successful" and "Invented Sex" which were both on mixtapes. But overall it was a solid effort and I would give it a 4/5.

Nike Commercial

I remember like last week my friends were over to visit me and we were watching 106 and Park...but not really paying attention to it because we were getting ready to go out so this commercial comes on.....lol



This was our first time seeing it....and we were confused the whole commercial....lol......we didnt know if it was a music video or a commercial....come to find out it was a super long commercial....lol...Nike is soooooo innovative..lol
